„Decolonial Perspectives on Gender, Sexuality, and Patriarchy: Art, Activism, and Academia“ heißt ein internationales, interdisziplinäres und hybrides Forum der Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, in dem es auch ein Panel zu Musik gibt: am 10.10. geht es von 15-16 Uhr um „Women and Music“. Tarynne Swarts (University of Wits) spricht über “Renegotiating gendered subjectivities and deconstructing patriarchy in the music industry. Narratives from musicians in the Global South and North”, danach wird Sally Anne Gross (University of Westminster) einen Vortrag mit dem Titel “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution: Social media music activism among non–binary, non–males and women of colour musicians” halten. Rafael Moreira (UFF) spricht über „Bahian mothers sing the counter–hegemonic struggle: matriarchy in samba schools“. Um per Zoom teilnehmen zu können, ist eine Registrierung per Mail notwendig.
